Squarescape
By Jacob Koch - download for iPhone and iPad

In Squarescape, you slide a white box around single-screen stages in order to capture a small dot and take it to the exit.

You can only move along fixed vertical and horizontal lines, and manoeuvring around the traps and pitfalls gets more difficult as you progress through the game's 70 levels. Unsurprisingly.

Tilt-a-Bowl
By NO2 Games - download for iPhone and iPad

Put simply, the developer of Tilt-a-Bowl has taken the traditional game of ten-pin bowling and added a fast-moving action twist.

So, you'll be spending your time in this title guiding a ball down an alley full of pits, bugs, and (who would have thought) bowling pins.

The game features 48 levels, an endless mode, and OpenFeint leaderboards.
